On 16 April TiAuto`s newest automotive fitment centre brand TYRES & MORE® took a stride forward in its bid to become a household name, with the airing of its first TV commercial.
The 30-second ad was created by advertising agency Thackwell & Whittaker and features the talent of local actor Lehasa Maloi and music by the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
The ad begins with an acknowledgement that TYRES & MORE® customers would pretty much rather be doing anything but fussing with their cars, then spools through a series of lifestyle shots depicting what that “anything else†might entail. It closes with a smiling Maloi standing outside the brand`s Woodmead store and reiterating that TYRES & MORE® “does tyres and wheels and batteries and shocks and more,†while a strings ensemble from the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra plays in the background.

The airing of a company`s first TV commercial is a milestone achievement and no less so for TYRES & MORE®, which celebrated another milestone this month with the opening of its 10th store in less than a year.
