Tyres & More ® proudly stocks and sells leading tyre brands, each representing their own tyre manufacturer warranty. This warranty would include elements such as, the number of years a tyre is covered for against manufacturing defects and will indicate if the warranty is valid from date of manufacture or date of sale, as this may differ for each brand. The warranties are for passenger cars, vans and light truck tyres.

Damages or impairments that are NOT covered by the manufacturer`s warranty:

  • Damage that occurred as a result of using the tyre for any other reason than for which it was designed.
  • Road hazard injuries or damages caused by obstacles or debris, such as cuts, punctures (whether repairable or not), snags, bruises, tears, abrasions or impact breaks.
  • Improper repairs or repairs that have failed.
  • Improper inflation or other maintenance abuse or neglect.
  • Improper application of the tyre size and/or specification.
  • Improper mounting/dismounting procedures or tyre assembly balance.
  • Mechanical irregularities in the vehicle or wheel, such as bent wheel assemblies, misalignment, defective brakes, defective shock absorbers, worn or faulty components.
  • Accident, corrosion, vandalism, fire or damage caused by nature.
  • The use of fillers, sealants, balancing substances and external treatments or materials of any kind.
  • Tyres with ride disturbance complaints that have more than 1mm treadwear.
  • Tyres transferred from the original vehicle on which they were originally installed.
  • Tyres that have been re-treaded, re-grooved or not repaired in an approved manner.
  • Tyres which have been modified by the addition or removal of material or any tyre intentionally altered to change its appearance.
  • Tyres used in racing or other competitive motor sport events.
  • Flat spot caused by improper transport, storage or severe braking.
  • Tyres that the trademark, serial number or D.O.T number is worn or shows signs of having been tampered.

With consistent care and regular road conditions, Black Rhino offers a 12-month finish warranty on its wheels with chrome and painted finishes. Damage or issues with wheels manufactured by Black Rhino that are not caused by, or the result of, a manufacturing defect by Black Rhino are not covered under the warranty.

Additionally, the following are expressly excluded from the warranty:

  • Black Rhino does not offer a “road hazard warranty, so any damage or issue with a wheel caused by the wheel colliding with a pothole or any other object or debris will not be covered by the warranty.
  • Wheels that have been used in racing are not covered by the warranty regardless of the damage or structural unsoundness.
  • Wheels mounted on vehicles with a load rating in excess of the load rating of the wheel are not covered by the warranty regardless of the damage or structural unsoundness.
  • Wheels that have been modified, repainted, or powder coated.

 

 

 

Wheels that meet the warranty criteria will be professionally repaired according to the SANS 1158 Standard (the South African national standard for alloy wheel repair).

The following warranties are provided by Wheel Collision:

  • lifetime warranty on workmanship.
  • Lifetime Manufacturer`s Warranty on paintwork against peeling or cracking where there are no visible stone chips or scuff marks on wheels that have been refurbished or customised.

In the event of a warranty claim:

  • Take the wheel/s covered under warranty to your nearest Wheel Collision Centre or Wheel Collision Xpress Rim Repair Centre.
  • Wheel Collision will inspect the wheel, and on confirmation that there is a warranty claim will repair the wheel accordingly.

Even the most affordable and reliable of car batteries eventually run out of juice. Make sure yours is checked regularly by the professionals.  Your claim will NOT be fulfilled under the following circumstances:

  • The battery is out of the warranty period.
  • The battery was incorrectly fitted, reversed charged or not strapped down.
  • The battery that was fitted in the vehicle, was not the correct fitment for the specific vehicle.
  • The battery was fully charged and does not test faulty when using the correct parameters and standards or if the battery was not fully charged and the incorrect testing procedures were applied.
  • The battery shows signs of abuse, e.g. casing, lid, or terminal damage.
  • The vehicle charge rate was tested and found to be outside the parameters of 13,8 Volts to 14,2 Volts (refer to the below chart).
  • If the battery was not managed properly by the customer, e.g. the vehicle was parked for a long period of time.

Bosch wiper blades have a 12-month warranty on any metal parts and a 6-month warranty on rubber components and are subject to operational conditions.

All parts fitted which are not directly supplied by Tyres & More® are fitted entirely at the customers own risk. Tyres & More® cannot warrant the quality or suitability of non-supplied parts, and take no liability for losses, damage or injury caused by the fitment of these parts.

A confident lifetime warranty is offered on our brake pads for manufacturing defects.

The manufacturer reserves the right to inspect and examine all relevant vehicles and or associated components subject to a claim under the warranty to determine the cause of the failure.

The following will not be covered by the warranty:

  • Wear and tear.
  • Alteration or modification to the product.
  • Misuse or abnormal driving conditions.
  • Incorrect fitting of the product, or product fitted to discs in poor condition or used in any applications for which they were not intended.

Monroe Original or Gas-Magnum have a 3-year unlimited km warranty.

OESpectrum shocks have a 5-year unlimited km warranty if new mountings & protection kits are also fitted. (otherwise, it reverts to a 3-year unlimited km warranty).
