Drive to Survive

Did you hear about Bill? He heard that most accidents happen within 5km of home, so he moved… Don`t be like Bill!

But do remember that anything can happen at any time. Get through the silly season safely, by acting on our Top 5 Tips to Drive to Survive.

1. Pick a designated driver or use a ride-share service, but don`t drive under the alfluence of incohol. Laugh away… If you`ve ever had one too many, you know you were speaking code, and that`s nothing compared to your inability to drive properly.

2. Drive defensively. It`s silly season. People are distracted, exhausted, and some are drunk – don`t trust that they know what they`re doing.

3. Don`t drive fatigued. Your brain sees the holiday at the end of the tunnel and tells your body to start shutting down, allowing exhaustion to catch up with you. Get extra shut-eye to compensate.

4. Don`t drive distracted. No texting, no calling, no putting on makeup or checking emails while you drive. It can wait!

5. Put a smile on your dial. Life is too short and too serious, but joy is infectious. Smile at drivers around you, entrepreneurs at intersections, and cops setting traps – spread a little joy this festive season.

Follow this advice and we`ll see you on the shiny side of 2018!
